It's really hard to find a recipes application more complete than this BigOven. It contains more than 160,000 entries, so there are of all kinds and for all tastes and cultures.

For each of the recipes, BigOven gives you all the steps to follow, photos, the ingredients needed, and additional information concerning the calories, carbohydrates, nutrients, etc. contained in each. BigOven allows users to create their own catalogue to store the recipes in, and classify and organize them. It also lets you import recipes from the following formats: MMF, MXP, MX2, Cook'n, etc.

BigOven also has a small tool to write shopping lists, and a calculator to get the nutrients of each dish you are going to prepare.
